Mike Lowell smacked 2 homeruns as the dominant Tombstone Huckleberries
destroyed the SSB SSB Tar Heels by a score of 11 to 1 at Minute Maid
Field.
Lowell propelled Tombstone to victory. He rifled a three-run blast in the 4th
inning, quieted the crowd by clouting a Grand Slam (his 18th of the season)
in the 5th inning and doubled in the 9th inning. Tombstone had 13 hits
overall, while SSB had 6.
The winning pitcher was Chris Young(10-12) who allowed no runs in 6 innings.
Curt Schilling(8-2) absorbed the loss. Tombstone scored big getting 4 runs
off him in 3 and 2/3 innings.
'Actually, I didn't feel that comfortable at the plate today' Lowell said
after the game. 'Despite that, I'm happy with the results!
